AI startup Memories.ai has raised $16 million in a funding round led by Susa Ventures, with contributions from Seedcamp, Fusion Fund, and Crane Venture Partners. The company, founded by former Meta team members Shawn Shen and Ben Zhou, aims to develop a visual memory infrastructure for wearables and robots.
In a strategic move, Memories.ai has partnered with NVIDIA to utilize its Cosmos-Reason 2 vision-language model and Metropolis video search platform. This collaboration is set to enhance the startup's Large Visual Memory Model (LVMM), which was launched in July 2025. Additionally, Memories.ai plans to integrate its model with Qualcomm processors later this year.
