Prediction market platform Polymarket plans to legally challenge the French National Gaming Authority's (ANJ) decision to block its website. The ANJ cited concerns over potential gambling losses and contract manipulation as reasons for the ban. This move comes amid increasing global regulatory scrutiny of prediction markets. Previously, Spain temporarily banned Polymarket and Kalshi in May, and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission proposed new rules for the industry in June.
