Pi Network has launched a Remote Procedure Call (RPC) server on its Testnet, marking a significant infrastructure milestone for the blockchain. This development supports the creation and deployment of smart contracts, following the protocol upgrade to version 21. Despite these advancements, the PI token continues to decline, struggling below $0.17. The RPC server facilitates communication between applications and the blockchain, enabling developers to perform read-only calls without fees and state-changing transactions with standard fees. However, the PI token remains under pressure, with nearly 8 million tokens set to be released daily, potentially increasing selling pressure. Between April 15 and 17, over 18 million tokens will be unlocked daily, further impacting the token's market performance.
