Lyte has closed a $165 million Series C funding round led by Maverick Silicon, with participation from Fidelity Management & Research, Atreides Management, Key1 Capital, and Ora Global. The round values the physical AI company at $1.6 billion post-money.
Founded in 2021 by former Apple and PrimeSense engineers, Lyte develops a perception technology stack for robots covering custom chips, multimodal sensors, and spatial software. The company said it has now raised $272 million in total and will use the new capital to scale production of its perception chips and LyteVision platform, while advancing AI perception capabilities and robot commercialization.
