New York AI startup General Intuition is in talks to raise funding at a $6 billion pre-money valuation, according to people familiar with the matter. New investors in the round include Valor Equity Partners, Point72 Ventures and Seven Seven Six, while existing backers Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst are also participating. The company builds foundation models designed to train general-purpose AI agents to move through space and time. The financing comes just weeks after General Intuition closed a $320 million round at a $2.3 billion valuation. CEO Pim de Witte spun the company out of Medal last October, using hundreds of millions of hours of gameplay data and player action records as an initial training dataset.
