Bitcoin mining pool Parasite Pool has successfully mined its second block at height 945,601, approximately 48 days after its first. Founded by ZK Shark of Ordinal Maxi Biz, the pool is designed for home miners and employs a unique hybrid distribution model. The miner who finds a block receives a direct reward of 1 BTC, while the remaining 2.125 BTC and transaction fees are distributed proportionally to all participants via the Lightning Network. Currently, the pool operates with no fees and has a total hash rate of about 52 PH/s, representing approximately 0.005% of Bitcoin's total network hash rate.
