The DFINITY Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Pakistani government to develop sovereign cloud infrastructure on the Internet Computer Network. This collaboration aims to establish a secure national communications system and advance generative AI applications. Key initiatives include the creation of a Pakistan Subnet, a serverless cloud designed to be cyberattack-resistant, and the issuance of 1,500 Caffeine AI licenses to support digital transformation across various sectors. Additionally, the partnership will develop a national messenger service utilizing digital identity verification and privacy protection technologies. DFINITY plans to establish a branch in Pakistan to assist in the development of sovereign applications and promote Internet Computer technology. This initiative is set to enhance Pakistan's digital sovereignty and AI infrastructure, ensuring security and national control.
