Nvidia has announced plans to establish its first overseas headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, with an investment of $1.27 billion. The new campus, named "Nvidia Constellation," will be located in the Beitou-Shilin Technology Park and is expected to create over 10,000 jobs. Construction is set to begin in mid-2026, with the headquarters opening by 2030. The decision to build in Taiwan is strategically aligned with Nvidia's reliance on Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) for its advanced chip production. The project has received approval for NT$3.3 billion in investment inflows from Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs. This move underscores Nvidia's commitment to strengthening its supply chain proximity and enhancing its technological capabilities in chip design and AI research.
