Crypto hardware wallet maker NGRAVE issued a security notice warning of an ongoing high-level cyber threat targeting its users. The company said its team is actively monitoring and responding to the situation, urging customers to watch for impersonators reaching out via messages, emails, notifications, websites, or support accounts.
NGRAVE stressed that it will never ask users for their recovery phrase or Perfect Key. The only legitimate scenario requiring a recovery phrase entry is restoring a wallet directly on the ZERO device's own screen — never on any phone, computer, or website. The company confirmed that as long as users have not entered their recovery phrase anywhere else, their keys remain safe while stored offline on ZERO.
