Millennium Management, a hedge fund overseeing approximately $97 billion in assets, is developing tools for its portfolio managers to use data from prediction market platforms such as Polymarket and Kalshi as trading signals for traditional asset classes, according to Bloomberg citing sources familiar with the matter. Some managers have shown particular interest in geopolitical, economic, and commodities-related market data.
The firm has not yet directly traded prediction market contracts. Millennium, Polymarket, and Kalshi all declined to comment. The move follows earlier entry into the space by market makers Susquehanna and Jump Trading, while quant firm AQR expanded its prediction markets research team this summer.
