Meta Platforms Inc has agreed to acquire Manus, a Singapore-based AI startup, according to Bloomberg. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Manus provides subscription-based AI agent services to small and medium-sized enterprises, with capabilities including resume screening, itinerary planning, and basic stock analysis. The company reported an annual revenue run rate of approximately $125 million. Originally founded in China, Manus relocated to Singapore and its parent company recently completed a funding round at a valuation close to $500 million. This acquisition is expected to enhance Meta's AI investment returns.
