Marinade Finance announced it will waive bond charges for validators affected by skipped slots caused by the Agave client bug. The liquid staking provider confirmed that impacted first-window slots are also excluded from uptime calculations, shielding validators from slashing penalties tied to the software issue.
Despite the fee relief, validators still forfeit block rewards missed during the buggy slot windows. Marinade noted that a fix for the underlying Agave bug is currently included in a release candidate awaiting deployment.
