Decentralized perpetual futures platform Lighter has added ether.fi's liquid staking token weETH as an accepted collateral asset for trading. According to Lighter documentation, weETH carries a 70% loan-to-value ratio, meaning it counts toward account margin at 70% of its index price, with a liquidation threshold set at 85%.
The integration imposes supply caps of 800 weETH per individual user and 1,000 weETH across the entire platform. Lighter previously supported ETH and XAUT (Tether Gold) as multi-asset margin options, expanding its collateral framework beyond native assets.
