Lido has announced a potential vulnerability in the ZKsync wstETH bridge endpoint contract. While there is no evidence that the vulnerability has been exploited, Lido has suspended new deposits to the ZKsync bridge as a precaution. Current wstETH holders on ZKsync and other bridge contracts remain unaffected. Withdrawals and token transfers on ZKsync continue to operate normally.
A fix for the issue has been completed and will undergo an audit and deployment through the next scheduled on-chain Lido governance vote, expected between late March and early April. Once the fix is implemented, deposits will resume.
