LayerZero announced that its Layer 1 blockchain Zero mainnet and trading engine lzATLAS will launch on November 30. lzATLAS, the first application built on Zero, begins with Open ATLAS and supports more than ten trading venues at launch, with additional venues expected to come online within the year.
The mainnet will initially focus on open markets. Institutional participants are already testing lzATLAS in large-scale scenarios such as U.S. equities, while various trading venues are integrating trading infrastructure and testing order execution and settlement capabilities.
