Kraken has obtained a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license from the Central Bank of Ireland, allowing the crypto exchange to offer compliant services across all 30 EU member states. This development marks a significant step in Kraken's European compliance strategy, following its acquisition of an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license in 2023 and a MiFID license earlier this year. Kraken's co-CEO highlighted that the new license will facilitate the company's business growth within the EU market.
