UK-based cryptocurrency firm KR1 is set to become the first digital asset company to list on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). The company, which specializes in cryptocurrency staking, plans to transfer its listing from the Aquis Exchange to the LSE's main board. This move aims to attract more institutional investors and marks a significant step for the crypto industry in the UK. Co-founder Keld van Schreven highlighted the listing as a pivotal moment for digital asset companies, predicting that more will follow KR1's lead. With a market capitalization of approximately £56 million, KR1 has taken steps to comply with the LSE's stricter regulations by hiring additional auditors and expanding its board. The transfer is expected to be completed next month.
