Prediction market platform Kalshi has inaugurated a new office in Washington, D.C., to enhance its lobbying activities with the U.S. government. The company has appointed John Bivona, a seasoned political strategist, as its head of federal government relations. Bivona brings over 20 years of experience, including his role as the first White House liaison officer for the Department of Homeland Security during the Biden administration. Additionally, Kalshi has recruited Blake Bee, formerly a senior manager of state and local public policy at Amazonas, to oversee state-level policy initiatives.
