Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced a retaliatory strike on 85 key U.S. military sites following alleged U.S. airstrikes on Iranian coastal bases and civilian facilities in Hormozgan Province and Mahshahr. The IRGC claims the U.S. violated a ceasefire agreement and the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. In response, the IRGC's naval and aerospace forces launched a coordinated missile and drone operation targeting U.S. facilities at Salman Port, the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. Additionally, an MQ-9 drone was reportedly shot down during the operation.
