The Hyperliquid Policy Center (HPC) has commended SEC Chair Paul Atkins for his proactive approach to enhancing regulatory clarity for on-chain markets. Atkins outlined four key areas for guidance, emphasizing the need for clear regulatory frameworks for on-chain trading systems, broker and dealer activities, and the definition of clearing agencies. He also highlighted the importance of addressing crypto vaults under the Securities Act and Advisers Act. Atkins suggested that the SEC should consider notice-and-comment rulemaking to future-proof its regulatory efforts, while also urging Congress to pass the CLARITY Act. The HPC, led by Jake Chervinsky, praised Atkins' approach for aligning on-chain systems with existing legal frameworks, viewing it as a significant step towards regulatory alignment. Meanwhile, Hyperliquid's native token, HYPE, saw a 2% increase, trading at $42.98, though it remains 27% below its all-time high.
