Decentralized privacy protocol Hinkal has confirmed a security breach resulting in the withdrawal of approximately 797,000 USDC from its Ethereum contract. The stolen funds were converted into about 454 ETH, with 410 ETH transferred to Tornado Cash and 44.67 ETH moved to the Bitcoin network via THORChain. Hinkal has pledged to fully reimburse affected users and is collaborating with external security teams to track the stolen funds.
