Japanese gaming company gumi Inc. will record a ¥1.537 billion valuation loss on crypto assets in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending April 2027, following a decline in fair value amid recent market volatility.
The loss, approximately $10 million, was recorded in the financial report for the three months ended July 31, 2026. The parent company bears ¥675 million of the total loss. Gumi’s stock price fell 19.10% after the announcement.
