The decentralized AI computing network Gonka has successfully upgraded its mainnet to version v0.2.9, transitioning to the PoC v2 weight allocation mechanism. This upgrade, executed at block height 2451000 following on-chain governance approval, enhances the network's computing power verification and governance. The new system unifies model and validation standards, reducing computational noise and stabilizing the infrastructure for AI inference and training. Post-upgrade, only ML Nodes using PoC v2 compatible images can participate in weight calculations. The network's computing power has surged to nearly 14,000 H100-equivalent GPUs, marking a 52% monthly growth since December 2025. High-end GPUs like NVIDIA H100, H200, and A100 now constitute over 80% of the network's power, with nodes spanning 20 countries, establishing a robust global AI infrastructure.
