Galaxy Digital LP has filed an application with the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Galaxy National Bank, headquartered in New York. If approved, the institution will operate as a federally regulated trust bank under OCC supervision.
The proposed bank will provide Galaxy's digital asset custody, trading, and staking services, along with fiduciary investment advisory business. The federal charter would enable Galaxy to serve clients across all 50 states under a unified regulatory framework.
