Five former researchers from the Ethereum Foundation have launched @ethlabs_org, a new independent non-profit research and development lab focused on Ethereum. The team includes Ansgar Dietrichs, Barnabé Monnot, Caspar Schwarz-Schilling, Josh Rudolf, and Julian Ma. The initiative is backed by BitMNR, Sharplink, and Consensys founder Joseph Lubin. The lab aims to advance Ethereum as the world's universal onchain settlement layer.
