The Ethereum ecosystem has reached a milestone with over 1.01 million developers, including approximately 232,000 active in the past year, according to Joseph Chalom, CEO of SharpLink. This makes Ethereum the largest developer community in the crypto space. Chalom emphasized Ethereum's role as the default operating system for programmable finance, highlighting its focus on protocol scalability, privacy, quantum resistance, and proxy systems. The upcoming Glamsterdam upgrade aims to enhance Layer 1 throughput with ePBS and BALs, while synchronous composability will enable multiple Rollups to function as a single chain. Ethereum is also preparing for quantum resistance, with a dedicated team targeting a migration by 2029. The network's modular architecture supports scalability through Rollups, maintaining over 900,000 validators without fragmentation.
