Fluid, a major competitor to Uniswap, is set to release its V2 version this month, according to OAK Research. Since the launch of V1, Fluid has processed over $200 billion in trading volume, establishing itself as the second-largest decentralized exchange (DEX) on Ethereum. The key innovation in Fluid V2 is Flash Accounting, which consolidates all pools into a single contract, settling token transfers only at the end of transactions. This architecture allows for higher loan-to-value (LTV) ratios and reduces penalties to 0.1%.
