Fluent has launched its Ethereum-based Layer 2 mainnet and native BLEND token, securing $50 million in liquidity. The network introduces a "hybrid execution" environment, allowing applications for different virtual machines to operate on a unified chain state. Fluent's native stablecoin, USDnr, is built on the M0 infrastructure, with treasury bill yields benefiting the protocol. The BLEND token, used for network operations like transaction fees and staking, was issued via a public sale on Coinbase's Sonar platform, raising $1 million. Fluent Labs has raised $11.2 million to date, with funding rounds led by Polychain Capital and others. The mainnet launch included seven applications, such as Vena, Yumi, and Pulse Predictor, leveraging Fluent's reputation layer, Prints, for enhanced user profiling.
