Fetch.ai has introduced an AI-to-AI payment system through its ASI:One platform, enabling transactions in USDC and FET with Visa integration. This system allows personal and enterprise AIs to autonomously handle bookings and payments, exemplified by an AI arranging and paying for a dinner via OpenTable while the user was offline. The CEO highlighted that agent-based payments could pave the way for an AI-first economy, allowing AIs to manage real-world transactions independently. The system features AI wallets with spending limits, temporary Visa credentials, and on-chain payments, with a full rollout expected in January.
