F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun criticized KYC procedures, arguing that requiring users to provide a “permanent address” discriminates against people who freely move between locations. He said individuals should be able to migrate freely and stay in different hotels, while describing KYC as an attempt to bind people to land like a feudal system. Wang also said KYC can be interpreted as “Kill Your Customers” and cited previous comments from ShapeShift founder Erik Voorhees, who argued that KYC continues to expose innocent users to risks.
