The European Commission has initiated an investigation into X's AI chatbot, Grok, under the Digital Services Act. The probe aims to determine if X adequately assessed and mitigated risks related to the dissemination of illegal content, such as altered pornographic images. The EU expressed concerns that X may have failed to conduct a provisional risk assessment before launching Grok in Europe.
