ether.fi has announced plans to resume LayerZero bridging for weETH and eETH within the next 24 hours, following guidance from its security partners. The bridging functionality was previously suspended as a precautionary measure due to the Kelp rsETH incident, although ether.fi confirmed its Liquid Vault was not directly affected. In response to the incident, ether.fi paused Teller contracts for Liquid (ETH, BTC, USD), sETHFI, and eBTC products, halting deposit and withdrawal functions to block LayerZero OFT bridging pathways. The company is actively collaborating with security partners to ensure the safety and integrity of its services.
