The Ethereum Foundation has unveiled three technical proposals aimed at reducing the operational burden on full node operators. The proposed solutions—State Expiry, State Archive, and Partial Statelessness—are designed to decrease storage and hardware requirements, thereby facilitating greater decentralization by making it easier to run a full node. These initiatives are part of a broader, long-term strategy and will undergo extensive research, testing, and community approval before being implemented on the mainnet.
