The Ethereum Foundation has unveiled the "Ethereum for Institutions" website, designed to assist institutions, builders, and enterprises in adopting Ethereum technology. Announced on October 29, the site offers resources and guidance, highlighting Ethereum's role in transforming the financial system. With over 1.1 million validators securing the network, Ethereum serves as a foundational layer for global financial transactions. The website, managed by the Foundation's Enterprise Acceleration Team, showcases the success of institutional products like BlackRock, Visa, eToro, and Coinbase, which have collectively managed billions in assets and transaction volumes on Ethereum. It also emphasizes innovations in privacy and compliance, such as ZK proofs and Trusted Execution Environments, and the importance of the Layer 2 ecosystem, which currently holds over $50 billion in total value locked.
