Grove has announced plans to invest $100 million in its newly launched Securitize Tokenized AAA-rated CLO Fund (STAC). The fund, which focuses on tokenized investments in AAA-rated collateralized loan obligation (CLO) tranches, is custodied by Bank of New York Mellon and advised by Insight, its investment arm. Subject to governance approval, Grove's investment will be pegged to the fund.
The STAC fund will issue units as Ethereum digital tokens, allowing eligible investors to subscribe through the Securitize platform. This initiative marks a significant step in integrating traditional finance structures with blockchain technology, offering a new avenue for digital asset investment.
