Dragonfly partner Omar Kanji said September 1 is his last day at the firm, marking the end of a four-year tenure. In a post on X, Kanji said he joined in 2022 and experienced the FTX collapse, the SVB run and the USDC depeg during his time at Dragonfly.
Kanji said Dragonfly continued backing founders during one of the industry's darkest periods and thanked the firm's team and the founders he worked with. He did not disclose his next move but said more information will be announced later.
