Stablecoin payments infrastructure startup Diameter Pay has raised $10 million in a Series A round co-led by CMT Digital and Lightspeed Faction. Participants included SixThirty Ventures, Stellar Development Foundation, Tech Council Ventures, Onigiri Capital and BitRock Capital.
The round marks the company’s first external funding since its founding in 2023. Founder and CEO David Lighton said Diameter Pay had previously been self-funded. The equity financing process began in April and closed in July, with the post-money valuation undisclosed. Diameter Pay provides payment infrastructure for banks, fintech companies and digital asset exchanges, including U.S. dollar virtual accounts through U.S. banking partners, domestic and cross-border payments, stablecoin on- and off-ramps, and compliance controls.
