The cryptocurrency market experienced significant liquidations totaling $600 million over the past 24 hours, with short positions accounting for the majority. According to Coinglass data, $431 million of the liquidations were from short positions, while long positions saw $170 million liquidated. Bitcoin shorts were particularly affected, with $217 million liquidated, compared to $30.55 million in Bitcoin longs. Ethereum also saw substantial liquidations, with $98.70 million in shorts and $27.03 million in longs.
