Bitcoin long positions accounted for $134 million of the liquidations, while Ethereum long positions saw $111 million liquidated. In contrast, short positions for Bitcoin and Ethereum were liquidated for $11.0064 million and $9.0649 million, respectively.
A total of 127,589 traders were affected by these liquidations, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair, valued at $3.6396 million. This wave of liquidations highlights the volatility and risk inherent in the crypto markets, particularly for leveraged long positions.
