Bitcoin's price has fallen below the $70,000 mark after reaching a local peak of $71,800. The cryptocurrency had previously hit a monthly high of $74,000, but recent market dynamics, including intensified geopolitical tensions, have contributed to its decline. As of now, Bitcoin trades at approximately $68,000, with a market capitalization of $1.390 trillion and a dominance of less than 57% over altcoins. While most major altcoins are experiencing declines, with Ethereum struggling to maintain the $2,000 level, ICP and PI have emerged as notable exceptions. Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) surged by 12% to $2.7 following a listing on Upbit, and Pi Network's PI token increased by 6% to nearly $0.23. The overall cryptocurrency market cap has decreased by $50 billion, now standing at $2.450 trillion.
