Major cryptocurrency firms and billionaires, including Ripple, Coinbase, Elon Musk, and Andreessen Horowitz, are significantly funding pro-Republican Super PACs ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. This strategic shift from a bipartisan approach to a Republican focus aims to secure favorable legislative and regulatory outcomes for the crypto industry. MAGA Inc., a prominent Trump-aligned Super PAC, has amassed nearly $177 million, with Elon Musk contributing $5 million. Additionally, Coinbase and Ripple have donated $33.2 million and $23 million, respectively, to Fairshake, another influential PAC. This move underscores the crypto sector's growing investment in political influence to shape future policy.
