This is the third month in 2026 with losses under $100 million. Phishing attacks accounted for $2.6 million, while $9.4 million of stolen funds were recovered. The largest loss was $11.5 million from the Verus Protocol cross-chain bridge attack, followed by THORChain with $10.1 million. Code vulnerabilities caused $45 million in losses, and cross-chain bridges were the main target, incurring $28.6 million in damages. DeFiLlama recorded 29 incidents, including 7 private key leaks.
