Cosmos Labs has announced the discovery of a vulnerability affecting certain chains utilizing the Cosmos EVM stack. The issue, which impacted a specific function used by some chains, was notably present in the Saga production environment. In response, Cosmos Labs collaborated with Saga and ecosystem partners to investigate the problem, implement coordinated mitigation measures, and release a patch to the affected chains.
