Coinbase reported a 19% increase in enforcement requests in its 2025 Transparency Report, with a total of 12,716 requests from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. Notably, 53% of the requests were from outside the United States, marking a 2% increase from the previous year.
The majority of requests originated from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and Australia, with the U.S. leading in the number of requests from 2022 to 2025. Coinbase highlighted its obligation to comply with legally valid requests under applicable laws.
