This figure pertains to transfers made through Coinbase's payment infrastructure, distinct from its trading volume. Additionally, Coinbase holds $20 billion in USDC on its platform and has processed over 160 million proxy payments via the x402 protocol in the past year.
Alec Lovett, Coinbase's Head of Infrastructure Products, disclosed that the Base blockchain has handled $19 trillion in stablecoin transactions this year. Previously, Coinbase's Q1 financial report indicated that the platform held $19 billion in USDC, representing over 25% of the total USDC circulating supply.
