Coinbase has announced the launch of its cryptocurrency futures trading service in Europe, gradually opening access to users in 26 countries, including Germany, France, and the Netherlands. The service is offered through its MiFID-compliant entity, allowing users to trade futures on cryptocurrencies like BTC and SOL, as well as stock index futures on the Coinbase Advanced platform. The platform also features long-term futures contracts with structures similar to perpetual contracts, offering terms of up to five years and leverage up to 10x on certain products.
