Cari Network, led by former OCC head Gene Ludwig, has chosen Matter Labs' Prividium, based on ZKsync and anchored to Ethereum, as its foundational infrastructure. This platform will facilitate on-chain payments and settlements using a 'stablecoin-like' system for U.S. regional and mid-sized banks. Banks such as Huntington, First Horizon, M&T, KeyCorp, and Old National are reportedly involved in the design and testing phases. The project aims to launch its MVP by the end of March, with pilot testing scheduled for Q3.
