Breed VC has closed $15 million for its second cryptocurrency fund, backed by investors including FalconX, Hutt Capital, Arrington Capital, and prominent angels such as Nic Carter, Rob Hadick, and Jake Brukhman. Founded by Jed Breed, former head of digital assets at Circle, the firm will deploy capital over the next three to four years with check sizes ranging from $250,000 to $750,000.
The fund targets day zero, pre-seed, and seed-stage startups building open financial infrastructure and decentralized AI systems. Breed VC has already made initial investments in Silicon Data, 3Jane, M1X Global, and USD.AI as part of its early-stage deployment strategy.
