Sean Bowe and Zooko Wilcox have published a draft Zcash Improvement Proposal (ZIP) on GitHub to terminate the Zcash Community Grants program's 8% funding stream. The proposal also seeks to transfer 50,000 ZEC from the program's treasury.
The draft remains open for discussion, with no competing offer submitted by the community grants committee itself as of now.
