Boros, Pendle's funding rate trading platform, has exceeded $12 billion in cumulative notional trading volume since its launch in August 2025. The platform's rapid growth is highlighted by the introduction of a new funding rate arbitrage feature. This feature allows users to convert variable funding rates of perpetual contracts into tradable yield units, enabling them to lock in fixed yields and hedge against funding rate volatility.
The arbitrage function supports opportunities across various trading platforms, with recent gold (XAU) markets offering weekend fixed yields over 21%. Some strategies can achieve delta-neutral fixed income with annualized returns above 20%. Additionally, Pendle's V2 has introduced two new stablecoins: Ripple (aRLUSD) and PayPal (aPYUSD).
